The science knowledge quiz was part of a larger survey conducted by the Pew Research Center in collaboration with the American Association for the Advancement of Science titled “Scientific Achievements Less Prominent Than a Decade Ago; PUBLIC PRAISES SCIENCE; SCIENTISTS FAULT PUBLIC, MEDIA.” Le quiz de connaissances scientifiques faisait partie d'une grande enquête menée par le Pew Research Center, en collaboration avec l'Association américaine pour l'avancement de la science intitulé «Les progrès scientifiques réalisations moins aussi visibles que Ago une Décennie; PUBLIC LOUANGES SCIENCE; SCIENTIFIQUES DE DÉFAUT public, des médias».
