Following Hurricane Katrina some folks made a verb out of it and implied the storm was “purifying” sinful New Orleans, punishing the city for it wickedness. I think that kind of logic, though convenient for those who still believe in magic, is utter nonsense. Jeg tror den slags logikk, men praktisk for dem som fortsatt tror på magi, er fullstendig tull.

One piece of advice to the citizens of New Orleans: if it looks like Gustav is coming anywhere near the city, run. Ett råd til innbyggerne i New Orleans: Dersom det ser ut som Gustav kommer hvor som helst i nærheten av byen, løpe.
